Okay. So background time:

This is from a project I've been working on since 2009.

It's called Cinder Valley. After a "huge ass bomb" ends the world in 2012, humanity emerges again... in 2018. They are smarter and better off, but the world is not at all what it used to be.

Parts of the world are totally inhabitable. The U.S was flipped to it's side (the south becoming the west) and ripped down the middle. A second apocalypse is a daily fear. Science and religion both unite and destroy communties.

Of course, this is a comedy.

The focus is really on seven teenagers who act like teenagers... In the midst of zombie infestations they swoon over celebrities, while figuring out their sexuality they're making alliances with Satan, and they bemoan their *boring* science homework: finding the decapitated head of a mad scientist. Ya know. Average teenage stuff.

This is a song in the seventh "episode" titled the "Deep West".

The gang is on a field trip to the "literal ghost town" of Fontaine Mountains when they get lost. The friendly spirit of Samuel Hilaire Fontaine, (part of the southern fried, trigger happy and all around bat shit crazy Fontaine family) finds them on his river raft and decides to show them around.

Diana: Black, 16, deadpan snarker, bit of a prude. Is trying to get home.
Matt: White, 17, goofy, Cloudcuckoolander, pyromanic. Grows to love Fontaine Mountains and the undead residents.
Erin: Asian (Vietnamese), 16, tomboy, ADHD. Joins the Fontaine/Vailanncourt family feud.
Jereme: White, 16, the "straight man" (who is actually proudly gay), songwriter. Develops feelings for Sam.

Enjoy! Might post more stuff if people react well to this.

Wow this is super interesting. I like it, the characters are cute and quirky. Song is well done, very funny.
